Coates Lane and Newchurch-in-Pendle Primary Schools were also recognised for having registered with the scheme.

Mr Stephenson MP says “I am so pleased to see Pendle schools offering a high quality creative opportunities to our next generation. Young people’s artistic talent ought to be spotted and nurtured.

“I congratulate the schools, teachers and pupils that have been recognised and would encourage other Pendle schools to consider registering for Artsmark status.”
