This week, the Government confirmed its commitment to achieve ‘net zero’ carbon emissions by 2050 – the first major country to do so. This is an ambitious target and achieving it won’t be easy. However, the UK can and must take this opportunity to lead.

To mark Cervical Screening Awareness Week (10-16th June), local MP Andrew Stephenson has teamed up with charity Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, to encourage people to attend their smear test in order to prevent cervical cancer.
Andrew has today backed the Citizen’s Advice Scam Awareness Campaign. The Campaign, which launched today and runs until 23 June aims to make sure people ‘stop, report, talk’ if they think they’re being targeted by scams or fraud.
